For those of you that use your phone as an ipod finding music while you’re on the run can be challenging, especially if you’re not able to access the internet . There is an app now called Music Junk which allows you to download preselected ( typically the most popular songs of your chosen artist) so you can have that song.

Got a great tutorial with step by steps on how the app works. I’ve got on my G1 as well and it downloaded just fine. As did my Droid. It seems to be a pretty good app.. check it out!

It has been foreverrrrrrrrrrrr for the G2. Seems like all the other Android phones have been getting their updates & getting their smart phones “smarter” but the poor little G1 was so behind on times.

Not anymore!! As of TODAY Tmobile has released the new G2 which is super super SUPER DUPER saweeet!  The entire web is being saturated along with advertisements on the tube and radio. So lets keeps this short and to the point!

• 4G network, first for Tmobile- which means not necessarily that it is operating on a 4G network but it has the SPEED like one. Which is true, most have been impressed by the speed.
• The design doesn’t have the cheap plastic crap look about it, actually has some stainless steel on it to give it a more sturdier feel and well-last hell of a lot longer than plastic.
• The flip screen mechanism is improved to be a lot smoother and swifter about opening up if you choose to use the keyboard. Although some complaints have come up that it doesn’t stay in place all that well. But hey- nothings perfect right?
• The entire phone is a lot thinner, it’s not like the brick style of the previous generation G1. Which means won’t be so damn bulky and possibly fit into a pocket at least.
• The 5 mega pixel camera is pretty good when it comes to taking photos or taking video.

If you are one of those types of people who enjoy researching phones (and more than likely cars too) this would be the site for you to go to which has fantastic reviews in great detail.

It seems like a whirl wind, how fast and what a furry these smartphones have hit consumers. Once the first two phones hit the market, OH BOY, it was raining Droids! Which was fantastic because they were so cool and fascinating ( ha! one of the Google phones) we couldn’t get enough. It was a whole new world introduced to us- a phone that had touch screen, ran multiple programs… Apps, wtf? The Apps phenomena really is what sparked all the fun. Yea it was a beauty that’s for sure.

I didn’t realize how many phones there were once the first G1 came out. Which, by the way the one  year anniversary is coming up here pretty soon. Check out the long list of beauties and the look at carriers bringing about healthy competition in order to make smartphones accessible to us all

Rooting your phone is something like “jail braking” or “unlocking” your phone-but not really. heehee

It is a way in which you can open up your phone’s “insides” and make it so that if there was some mechanism that was on another type of phone ( say you had a G1 and wanted an app or other cool thing that the Motorola has) “rooting” your phone would allow you to put that app or whatever on your Droid.

This guy breaks it down step by step-super helpful. I didn’t even know about this and thought it was something I could totally use!!!

This is my phone. I absolutely love it. I love it because …

It is big enough for me to find in my huge purse, I’ve dropped it ( *highly recommend that you don’t do this*) , I always get great service (of course also depends on your cell provider), the applications work very well, I like having the option of either a touch screen keyboard or an actual keyboard, the big screen helps with seeing pictures and I also like that there are limited buttons.

Those are just my thoughts, I’m sure there are some others out there that get super technical-cool but this was what I liked..
