I didn’t realize that such a thing existed until I went on to do some detective work. Seems that rooted Droids tend to have this option of blocking ads and such.  IT all varies from phone to phone. But I came across this excellent link for those of you that have android phones.

Android phones are by far some bad ass phones that can do so much!! Multitasking, free apps, and so much much more! Except I found my battery to really suck!

I’m like this nerdy person who has to carry a USB charger or my cell charger anywhere I go. It’s like having a kid or something planning ahead and figuring where I’ll be and if there will a power source. It really is ridiculous. I’m sure that the manufactures are trying to find a way to fix this problem. Until then I’m like an Android Mom who has to plan out her day because her Android phone has some “power outages“.

I came across this article that had some sound advice and mentioned some ideas that I had not thought of in preventing the not so convenient power outages.

Wifi is a power sucker, keeping your wifi off when you are not using it helps, the GPS is the same way. Although the article Improve Android battery life: Here’s how did discuss how your bluetooth can also be another form of battery loss. Most of us keep our bluetooth going. There were some other good suggestions in it. I recommend a quick glance at least.

Okay if you’re like me, seriously… finding out information about Skype App that could potentially take you “off the grid” is like one of the biggest circles! I swear it’s like a dog chasing it’s tail when it comes to finding out information about Skype Apps for Droids and Androids. I’ll hear something and then jump online and wonder “wtf was the dude saying or thinking.. this isn’t how it’s flowin at ALL!” Not to mention now we have Google Talk! More the merrier if we could only infiltrate our cell phones to gain the upper hand on the cell companies- can hope

Then the cell companies and their crummy hands in the cookie jar draining you dry.  Skype would be flippin amazing to have not have to pay up the wazoo on a cell phone bill.

We know that Droid with Verizon has this App——-> but it’s not that fantastic in a sense that Verizon has kept their shite locked up! It’s so frustrating with all the contracts, which normally are like two years now used to be one year. There’s all this stuff get the details here, the brake down is awesome!

It seems like a whirl wind, how fast and what a furry these smartphones have hit consumers. Once the first two phones hit the market, OH BOY, it was raining Droids! Which was fantastic because they were so cool and fascinating ( ha! one of the Google phones) we couldn’t get enough. It was a whole new world introduced to us- a phone that had touch screen, ran multiple programs… Apps, wtf? The Apps phenomena really is what sparked all the fun. Yea it was a beauty that’s for sure.

I didn’t realize how many phones there were once the first G1 came out. Which, by the way the one  year anniversary is coming up here pretty soon. Check out the long list of beauties and the look at carriers bringing about healthy competition in order to make smartphones accessible to us all

Apparently the grand coffee chain that’s like a plague to hit human beings  has decided to give out something free! Nope not coffee, but that other precious thing we like to use while drinking coffee at the coffee shop.  WIFI!!!!!!!!

Yup that’s right according to this article we will finally be able to get some damn free WIFI! It was always a pain in the ass when traveling or just out and about, you see a Starbucks so convenient but only if you had some cell phone carrier. Hell I don’t even really know what you had to have. This is totally helpful for those of us that use the wifi on our droids..

Apple is not one to play fair nor are they the type of company to be humble and not slander others. This was made apparent when the whole controversy came about with Adobe.

Steve Jobs the head honcho over at Apple decided to start bashing Adobe. Pretty crazy idea in that Adobe monopolizes flash on the internet. This in turn just caused Adobe to start putting more efforts into Smartphones & Droids.

Now Apple has decided to dispute a national study done by an outside source over the selling of iPhones and Android phones. The survey was about 150,000 survey takers. That was too limited for Apple’s liking. Although the spokes person for Apple has some pretty good stats they forgot to mention that as time goes on, Apple is beginning to become heavily reliant on foreign sales. Also, the limited number of carriers-Apple officially only goes with AT&T where has Droid is carried by most if not all the major carriers here in the U.S.
