I recently came across a really cool blog post that showed me a great app biking, hiking, running and perhaps other uses you can think of training tool it’s an app called My Tracks for your android phone.
This is a pretty cool app, keeps track of speed, distance, elevation and time on your screen for you. When you finish your workout it is a simple matter to load your workout up to your Google docs and track your workouts over time.
The app will also let you share your route and your workout with others if you tag it properly and upload to Google maps. Awesome!!
I love to find a new bike trail when I get out and go camping. A new mountain trail is always cool!
I can also see a lot of cool uses for this while traveling. When I am visiting my in-laws in Thailand we are nearly always driving around blind and it would be so easy to record my trip and have it ready for the next visit that I take or to send others of my family there when they travel over for a visit.
Anyway, super cool app, check it out!!

I run android on my tablet PC, I am really impressed at how fast it is, light as a feather, but powerfull. newer version far less buggy also.
That’s good to know! Apple is really big about their stuff, but seems like PC stuff along with Android out on the scene seems like hit and miss.
But thank you very much for visiting the site and your helpful information!!
All the best!
