It seems that the iPhone may just be a little threatened by the little droid. Poor droid didn’t mean to upset everything- or maybe it was Google?! Whatever the case, droid phones have been FLYING off the shelf when it comes to sales doubling the market since October.
iPhone announced that they will be coming out with a software update called “iPhone OS4” which will offer multitasking, improved email integration and folder organization. What does this mean for the little droid?
Apple is due credit for always setting the bar. Not only when it comes to phones but also apps. According to a writer from Fortune the iBook app really has changed things along with the iBookstore and the introduction of the iPad.
Droid on the other hand is a pro when it comes to multitasking. Jobs from Apple may claim all this in the new update for the iPhone but Android has been doing this since the beginning. It also is important to note that all of Apple will be closely restricted and there for the full experience may not happen.
Android is fabulous when it comes to notifications, a key feature that is used to measure satisfaction with a cell phone. The ability for apps to let you know in between them that they may need you to switch back to one or the other, multiple apps without the need of a start bar or something. Super helpful!
App folder is a great feature of Apple’s new phone OS, it gives the user the ability to drag an app to a folder where it then will automatically named. This helps when it comes to organizing all the apps that end up being downloaded. Ugghh so many! I love it!
Whatever your stand is when it comes to phones, Macs, PC’s it really just a big fireworks show between Apple and Google. Watch the flashes in the sky!
